Local Restaurants and Bars

There is a huge variety of restaurants within minutes of BTAB.  Charlotte St, which probably has more restaurants than any other street in London, starts as Fitzroy Street on Fitzroy Square at the end of Grafton Way.

Below is a list of the most elegant restaurants and bars within a 20 minute walk of BTAB:

Hakkasan 8 Hanway Place, London 020 7927 7000 is at the Oxford Street end of Tottenham Court Road. Famous Japanese/Western fusion.

Dabbous 39 Whitfield Street, W1T 2SF,0207 323 1544.  Michelin starred restaurant and you will need to book weeks in advance.

Archipelago 53 Cleveland St, W1T 4JJ, Tel 0207 383 3346.  Very sexy decadent decor with very unusual food such as snake.  Wonderful cocktails.

Roka 37 Charlotte Street, London.  Japanese/Western fusion cuisine

Newman Street Tavern 48 Newman Street (on the corner of Goodge St and Newman Street) 020 3667 1445.  It was once a pub and is now a very good, elegantly decorated, restaurant serving English food

 Charlotte St Hotel 15-17 Charlotte St, London W1T 1RJ, 020 7806 2000.  Great atmosphere and very good food.

 Champagne Bar, St Pancras Station.  Also has 2 restaurants by the bar and 1 in the hotel.

Sardo is just 3 doors down from BTAB on Grafton Way. It is the best Sardinian restaurant in London.  Perfect for an atmospheric dinner.  You will need to make a reservation on 0207 387 2559 as it is very popular.  It is open for lunch and dinner. Their sister café, Sardo Cuchino on the corner, does very good food throughout the day and closes around 1900 hours. It has a large basement ideally suited for discreet chats over coffee and cake.

Café Rio is on the corner of Grafton Way and Whitfield St. It does excellent English and vegetarian breakfasts plus freshly cooked Brazilian food.

The Agra on Whitfield St just 3 minutes away is our local Indian restaurant.  It is very popular and is open later.

Drummond Street, north of Euston Rd, is renowned for its many Indian restaurants.  One in particular, Diwana, has an amazing lunchtime vegetarian buffet.

Cleveland St at the end of Grafton Way has many cafes and restaurants including, Fishbone, a traditional, Fish and Chip shop.
